When you get down to the heart
of the matter it really isn't about who was wrong or right.
Time passes friends scattered and sometimes love is gone.
Time passes friends scattered and sometimes love is gone.
Life carries on at some point you
have to lay down the anger, the bitterness and think about forgiveness.
Without forgiveness the healing
process cannot begin.Think about it; the longer you walk around mad at someone or about something the more miserable you are going to be.
Soon it will affect your
behavior and interactions with others including your love ones; the animosity
builds up inside and will just eat away at you.
Things happen whether it is with
a person place or thing.
Two of my best inspiration to
forgive is from one of my favorite prayers taken out of the bible and a Don
Henley song titled “The Heart of the Matter”.I try to keep two verses from the “Lord’s Prayer” in mind whenever I may come across differences with others.
They
say: FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES
AS WE FORGIVE THOSE WHO TRESPASS AGAINST US.
The next lines are keys in not losing yourself in the drama and
they simply state:
LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION.DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
It is temptation that attempts to lure you with acts of revenge which constitutes evil and you don’t need to guess where evil leads.
That’s right to self destruction so by learning to forgive not
only others but of yourself, you are free to have a clear conscious to move
forward. Wish those who you may have had
differences with wellness.
We the people live our lives one way or another. I have learned to
deal with parting of the ways by having my own philosophy that says:
” I’ll miss you but life
will go on”. “I wish you well”.
You should try it sometimes.
